Took Kathy for a walk around Roe Valley Country Park last summer. She was decked out in the yellow shoes and that enormous green jacket she won't go anywhere without. Fair play to her really, no point being uncomfortable just for the sake of it. Have you lot walked around Roe Valley much, or is there a better spot nearby we should check out?

We've pulled in at Rathmullan and District Resource Centre for a few nights. Ten euro, they want you to keep it tidy, dogs on leads, quiet after eleven. Honestly that's the kind of place that restores your faith a bit. Has anyone else stopped here before? Worth knowing if there's anything worth seeing in the area that's worth the bother of getting the dogs sorted.

Just put up a video about camera mounting in the van. Spent way too long figuring out where to actually put the thing without it either vibrating itself to death or getting in the way of literally everything else. Kathy suggested duct tape. She might've been onto something.

This was back in July last year when we found this spot overlooking Lough Erne in Enniskillen. Arrived late, freezing, absolutely soaked, but the view from the van that night was worth every wet degree. Has anyone else parked along the Erne and found a decent spot that doesn't involve getting waterlogged?

Back to October 2023 in Portrush, when we dragged ourselves out for one of those wintering walks that feels more like a punishment than a cure. The Helta Skelta next to Curry's Amusements was standing there like it had seen better days, which honestly, we could relate to. Anyone know if that slide's still standing, or has the Irish weather finally finished it off?

This is from back in 2026 when Kelly and Lisa would drag me out for morning walks while Kathy sensibly stayed in bed. We'd hit the coast, grab coffees, and perfect the art of subtle people watching. Those were good mornings. Did anyone else have that one friend or family member who was always up for a dawn adventure, no matter what?
