Have you ever tried an Italian pound cake. I stumbled upon this recipe and let me tell you this is super addictive - lemony, fluffy and mildly sweet. You can easily finish the entire loaf all by yourself and you would still want more!!!! I paired the cake with maple syrup and some dark chocolates….but you can go with anything you like.. berries, lemon curd, cream or ice cream…

New year, New learnings!!!
Getting out of my comfort zone is my goal for this year. I rarely do any dark & moody photos and I literally was tearing my hair apart for this one on what was meant to be a quiet Friday afternoon! I will need to change this overwhelming process of shooting dark & moody to an enjoyable one. One step forward to my goal for this year 😊

Crowd pleasing dessert in under 5 min!

You have unexpected visitors or you are hosting a cosy evening with your close friends and family and this light & airy meringue topped with fresh berries from your local/ farmers market will definitely make you stand out - all with minimal effort! Make smart choices and enjoy!!!!

Just three ingredients:
Meringue base from a local store
Fresh berries of your choice from your local/ farmers market
Crème Fraiche

Assemble and serve:
Smear crème Fraiche on the meringue, top it with berries and slice and serve!!

I made this brownie a third time in a row in last ten days. This time around I managed to save them from being eaten by my family before I get to the photo shoot!!!! Have you had any similar encounters where you cook for a photo shoot, instead the food goes straight into the tummy!!!
