The LDT-M2 plugs into the LBUS connector on your Alexa Mini, Mini LF, 35, or 265. 🔗

It takes raw data from your lens control system (or the optional LDT-E1), translates it into ARRI metadata, and injects it live, directly into the ARRIRAW files.

Lenses get encoded via the LDT-R2 or LDT-V2. The M2 handles the injection. Accurate lens data, baked in automatically. ✅

LDT-E1 & LDT-E2 ⚙️
DCS’s own lens encoders, no lens control system required.

The LDT-E1 tracks one axis of manual movement, with interchangeable cogs for standard cine lenses or Panavision glass. Need more than one axis? The LDT-E2 adds an extra port so multiple units can be linked together, covering focus, iris and zoom at once. Perfect for virtual production when there’s no smart lens or lens control system in play.
Simple, motorless, and built to feed accurate lens data straight into your LDT.

Two DCS units, one seamless lens data workflow. 🎥

The LDT-R2 builds the lens map. 🔗 The LDT-M2 takes it straight into your Alexa’s ARRIRAW files, live, via LBUS.

No manual transfers, no extra steps on set.

R2 handles the encoding. M2 handles the injection. Together, accurate lens data ends up exactly where it needs to be, inside your files, automatically. ✅
