Professional Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager

We are seeking a highly creative, experienced and dependable Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager to manage the visual identity and social media presence of a new professional podcast focused on leadership, faith, church-related issues, destiny and purpose.
The successful applicant must be highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and other professional design tools. This is a hands-on creative position requiring original, high-quality designs without reliance on generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:
Design professional, attention-grabbing YouTube thumbnails.
Create episode flyers, banners, quote cards, carousels and promotional graphics.
Design branded covers for Instagram Reels, TikTok videos and YouTube Shorts.
Maintain a consistent and recognisable visual identity across all platforms.
Write engaging captions, calls to action and relevant hashtags.
Schedule and publish content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads/X and WhatsApp.
Monitor comments, messages, engagement and audience feedback.
Produce a monthly performance report covering reach, engagement, follower growth and top-performing content.
Develop creative strategies to reach Gen Z, young Christians, and emerging leaders.
Weekly Design Deliverables
The successful applicant will produce a minimum of eight original design sets per week:
One professional YouTube episode thumbnail
One episode promotional flyer
Four branded covers for short-form video clips
One educational carousel containing approximately 5–7 slides
One quote card or key-message graphic
Additional campaign graphics, profile banners and platform headers may occasionally be required.
Weekly Posting Requirements
The role requires the publication of at least nine core content posts per week:
One full podcast episode
Four short-form video clips
One episode promotional post
One carousel post
One quote or key-message post
One written discussion, question or audience-engagement post
Content will be strategically adapted and cross-posted across relevant platforms. Cross-posting the same content does not count as creating a separate original piece of content.
Edited podcast episodes and video clips will be provided by the production team. The primary responsibilities of this role are graphic design, content packaging, publishing and social media management.
Essential Requirements:
Advanced practical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Strong ability to create professional thumbnails, flyers, banners, carousels and social media graphics.
Ability to produce original designs without relying on generative AI.
Proven experience managing professional social media accounts.
Good working knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Strong written English and caption-writing ability.
Understanding of social media trends, content scheduling and audience engagement.
Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines.
Willingness to receive feedback and make revisions when required.
An understanding of Christian, leadership and purpose-related content would be an advantage.
Basic video-editing knowledge is desirable but not compulsory.

Applications without a design portfolio and verifiable experience in social media management will not be considered.
Salary and Probation
The position attracts a monthly salary of ₦250,000.
The successful applicant will complete a three-month probationary period, during which performance, creativity, reliability, communication and ability to meet the agreed weekly deliverables will be assessed.
