Santorini is one of the most iconic Greek islands in the Aegean Sea, part of the Cyclades. The Caldera is the flooded volcanic crater formed after a massive eruption thousands of years ago, and the caldera views which I’ve featured here are what makes Santorini so spectacular, with villages including Oia and Fira perched high above on the volcanic rock.
Famous for its blue domed churches and white washed houses, it’s also home to the famous red and black beaches with volcanic sand.
