World Photography Day!
The reason I love my cameras is that they allow me to follow whatever makes me stop, look twice, and wonder. The camera is simply the companion that allows me to bring a little of what I saw back home.
Photography has slowly become for me:
A reason to look closer.
A reason to wait longer.
A reason to travel.
A reason to learn.
And, occasionally, a reason to stand still.
But the camera has taught me something more important:
The photograph begins before I press the shutter. It begins with curiosity.
Photography is more than a moment. It's a memory I can hold.
To witness and capture a behaviour between two kingfishers that would have otherwise disappeared unnoticed.
Festivity in the air!
Daily adrenaline!
A motocross rider exploding through mud.
Reflection the Hero!
Sometimes the entire world becomes very small.
A motorcycle travelling so quickly that the challenge is no longer simply to freeze the moment, but to make the photograph feel fast.
Sometimes it is a face emerging from darkness, where light, smoke and expression can turn a photograph into a story.
