Carl Miller, tour director for Cat Stevens’ 1976 Majikat Earth Tour, captured here in a hotel lobby, phone in hand, making sure all is under control and on track. Managing a tour with live music, magicians, and elaborate stage designs was no small task, and when things inevitably went sideways, Carl always remained calm. Whether dealing with a misplaced rabbit or a broken projector mid-show, he navigated the chaos with ease, never losing his cool. This photo perfectly captures his composed yet determined energy during that tour.
