Our workshops are a spectacular fusion of performance and drawing, designed to inspire and excite. Combining elements of performance and movement, light and sound, we explore the human figure in hidden spaces and beautiful architecture, turning inspiration into drawings, collages and 3D drawings. All our workshops are suitable for all levels of ability- accessible for beginners, inspiring and chal

lenging for those with more experience. We also teach regular, more conventional life drawing sessions across London.

Such a wonderful week for the exhibition - while London boiled we created a little oasis in the Crypt which really felt like another world!
A week celebrating London Drawing- and all my achievements - in the best way - with an exhibition of excellent drawing with the amazing London Drawing tutors - and a series of far out drawing events - intensely beautiful and sensuous Sh***ri Life drawing with the performer from our very first event 10 years ago and tying partner .feels - two Figuratively Speaking performance drawing events curated by .deighton.artist featuring - a Drawing Theatre event with the incredible - topped off with a party to celebrate!!
A massive thank you to everyone who came to the Crypt over the past 5 days - to all the tutors .deighton.artist who took part and to for helping out and for all the support over the years!!

It’s SUSANNAH! Celebrating 20 years of London Drawing - and taking the opportunity to post about our fantastic team of tutors 🤩🤩
has recently left London Drawing for pastures new - but she has worked on an off for London Drawing for over 15 years. Susannah worked with me on so many events over the years - most notably where we would style people using every day items to create Renaissance style portraits - but it was online that she came into her own with incredible in depth teaching in portrait. Susannah’s enthusiasm and absolute passion for drawing drive her excellent teaching and her warmth and welcoming style make her sessions so accessible 🤩

It’s ANDREA! Celebrating 20 years of London Drawing - and taking the opportunity to post about our fantastic team of tutors 🤩🤩
OK so is a bit illusive - she doesn’t like having her picture taken and doesn’t work online - so there is very little evidence of her existence except in her classes where she very much does exist!!
Andrea is a brilliant tutor - running and excellently tight chaotic (in a good way) ship steering the class through turbulent drawing waters with skill and charisma. So much energy, enthusiasm and passion for drawing fire her teaching - if you are up for some drawing gymnastics - hers is the class for you 🤩
Andrea is and artist - working in finely detailed pencil with strange and detailed subject matter

It’s SISETTA! Celebrating 20 years of London Drawing - and taking the opportunity to post about our fantastic team of tutors 🤩🤩

Where do I start with ? Sisetta is an absolute force of nature - with seemingly unlimited resilience in the face of a career which in London can be extremely challenging. She is so resourceful and capable - and has an incredible capacity for retaining knowledge about ancient cultures and practices which infuse her work. Over lock down and the couple of years after it Sisetta embarked on an epic series of weekly online classes ‘Fantastical Beasts’ which in the end comprised of over 80 individual sessions exploring creative techniques in relation to global cultures - it was quite incredible.

Sisetta is a master printmaker and illustrator working in etching and watercolour to create intricate and cosmic imagery
She will have some works for sale in our tutor show - details below! 👇

It’s KIM! Celebrating 20 years of London Drawing - and taking the opportunity to post about our fantastic team of tutors 🤩🤩
I cant even remember how long ago or even how I started working with - i think it was via the lovely at least 15 years ago! Kim and I have run so many classes and workshops together over the years. She is a fantastic tutor - so calm and quietly great at developing themed classes and exciting ways of presenting drawing and painting- and a brilliant stylist - so good at creating sets and costumes- Kim is a dream to work with and an all round lovely person 🤩🤩
Kim is an artist - working mostly with landscape but also portraiture- creating gorgeously succinct paintings in lush colour. Kim will have some works for sale in our tutor show - Plus there are just a few places left on her Portrait Painting Summer Schools with us -
