This image is an interpretation of the tale of the lady in the lake, holding Excalibur high out of the water. Reinterpreted in a modern pretence for cosmetic brand . Their produce shines a light on sustainability using recycling plastic and turning plastic waste into something new.

This was a great project to work on and shooting at which is carbon neutral studio in London was the perfect place as they off set the carbon footprint created from the shoot.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
To create the image bags and bags of plastic waste were collected prior to the shoot day and then piled up meticulously to construct a 3D volcanic formation that was hollow in the centre. Our model was then placed in the middle of this sculpture, hidden from view with their hand raised high holding the product proud

This concept is about doing just that and throwing away old habits. In this case loosing weight and getting fit.

With getting fit being a gradual process that takes commitment and grit to accomplish results, we thought it would be interesting in applying the notion of immediacy to the image by revealing the before and after image together, creating this conceptual interpretation of health and the immediate want for results.

I’ve been quite on social media and busy in the real world creating something new. And as it’s valentines I thought it would be appropriate to share where my love has been focused. These shots are a new dry hire photography / capture studio I’ve set up in East London called . It’s an environmentally green conscious and socially responsible space. We are going to be the first studio to ditch polly boards and provide boards grown from fungus and painted with milk paint. We are also going to take 5% of our profits and contribute them to creative community projects. The first in our agenda is a monthly soup kitchen. I’m really excited to see how the space develops and the new people we will meet who are also looking for sustainable alternatives within the industry. FLESH........
These sacks, these bags of flesh we live in
They expand, beyond what one could ever comprehend
Would you sit and eat chocolate naked
Watching your nudity grow?
Thinking about what you used to be
Whip-thin
A boy laughs and tells you you are both sticks
Rub together would create fire
Would burn out
You find this romantic
Hip bones crash flintily
Sheets appear, on next day examination
To be scorched
But what is this compared with whale?
Glorious whale
So many curves of you that you have lost track of which island your hands rest on
Is this breast or
Stomach one or stomach two (lesser stomach) or a buttock or a back roll
It all forms a melange
And you know you could create more of it and yet more
No intellect needed for this creation
To simply eat with gluttonous abandon
Skate fingers across the pink-coloured more of you
Twisting and turning to admire the new excesses
Thigh dimples smile and wink at you
Tiny purple cracked lines of lightening express your power
Raise hips and thighs and thunder them in time to the music
You are all weather conditions
Droplets of moisture gather between mounds as you consider your next move
It will be colossal........
