“How very curious”, thought Rabbit. A few weeks ago, I started to go blind in my left eye over a period of days. Countless hospital visits and some hefty medical intervention later, and I’ve mostly regained the sight in my eye. As I still had one functioning eye throughout the whole thing, I kind of felt ok throughout the experience 💁🏻‍♀️. It didn’t make it any less surreal though.

I think it’s hilarious that I really don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera, but out of necessity I’ve had to shoot self-portraits for the last few months (including this one). It’s actually been a great experience - having to create in an environment where I’ve got nothing but myself and the inside of my house 😆. Can’t what to see what will happen to my art once lockdown is finally over in the UK. I wonder if it will change much? 🤔

Almost 100 days in lockdown since this all began and the restrictions are just starting to loosen a little here. It’s feels like after months of captivity, we are being slowly released back into society. It’s weird being on the precipice of this next stage - the uk has been hit so hard by covid. Let’s see what happens.
