A music / people photographer who loves to start and cultivate relationships with artists I photograph. I'm always up for a new adventure.

I'm the former Photo Editor at Echoes and Dust and a photographer at Chaos Theory. I have worked with other promoters, such as Cosmic Carnage and Baba Yaga's Hut, as well as many now befriended bands, including Maybeshewill, Austel, Dust in the Sunlight, Her Name Is Calla, Flies Are Spies From Hell and Rumour Cubes. I wasn’t planning on capturing the Battlesnake silent disco set at ArcTanGent because my much more talented friends were already on the case, but I somehow ended up at the very and of it and could r help myself.

To fight the post-festival blues, here’s Maruja from ArcTanGent - an explosive set, definitely in my top 5 from the weekend. I love music that’s confrontational, uncompromising, full of rage and involves a saxophone. They’ve been on my bucket list to shoot for a while and I hope I did them justice.

𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤 landed exceptionally well at Rebellion Punk Festival Club Casbah stage - after first catching them at last year’s 2000trees Festival, there wasn’t a way I was missing that one in Blackpool.

The Empress Ballroom was absolutely packed for Die Toten Hosen - I grew up on Viva II and German rock shows, so had to pop down to the grand ballroom to capture some of the action.

Kodak Gold, medium format, shot on an old flexaret during a photowalk with friends. Some real tries, some silly play, some pressing of the buttons not knowing what the f**k I’m doing.

Before I run dedicated post featuring my most treasured sets from the weekend (wish me luck), the Saturday round up. brought immense silliness, but .pioneers left me sobbing while I walked back from their set. Who knows me knows how important they are to me and seeing them live, documenting them and shaking hands with some of them meant a lot. I type this wearing my trusted Dead Pioneers t-shirt. I fangirled. continued the momentum, but completely exploded my brain and I pretty much danced while shooting their set. To have the opportunity to shoot them twice in a year - what a treat. I bookended my day with - they woke up the main stage and started my first mosh pit of the day and they finished it with an amazing silent disco set.

Thank you forever and my fellow media team buds .co who inspired me daily and tolerated me talking nonsense to myself and my never ending Heated Rivalry outfit changes. I came back simultaneously exhausted, but mainly fulfilled and recharged.

- Thursday wrap up, now that I’m starting to come down from the festival high. Somehow running around a field filled with like minded humans, with cameras strapped to me trying to capture the same joy in others that I am feeling gives me life.

On day 1 I got into mosh pits for and (have bruises to prove it), cried with , marvelled at and got obsessed with .3. I also got to hang out with the most talented and excellent humans who inspire me daily. Thank you Matt and Hayley for trusting me and welcoming me to the media team this year. I feel incredibly fulfilled.
