She wouldn’t stay in one place for longer than few seconds, making not just the stage, but the whole venue her playground. That undeniable command of the room and the clear message that the crowd immediately gets behind is what makes a gig not only memorable – it makes you feel alive.

opening for were a love at first note. Sonically and intellectually, it’s as if they have opened my brain, picked the favourite corners of my music taste and my non-fiction bookshelves and thrown them into a shaker than produces the tastiest cocktail – the one you like to sip in a quiet corner in the hope that it lasts for hours, knowing that you will ask for your glass to be refilled as soon as it’s finished. Instant fangirl. shot on for

A real pinch me moment. at shot and reviewed for .

it was one of those nights when you feel grateful to be alive. To see a band that shaped a good couple of generations of music fans, with a frontman so charismatic, deliver not only their new music alongside pieces that influenced how heavy and alternative music can be made, but also introduce new voices that carry their torch and win over the crowd – it felt simply monumental.

Last week at - every once in a while, very rarely, you come across artists who fuel your art. Music photography is one of those weird forms of art that at its core relies on being propelled by someone else’s art - which is why it’s often difficult for us to even call ourselves artists. But I had a creative play with this because Mrs Frighthouse brought that out of me. Also - good post for the start of Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🫶🏻 Shot on

Several weeks ago (what is time - I honestly can’t comprehend it) I saw play a magnificent gig at as part of the series - his new album deals with the intersection of Britishness and brownness and I was instantly swept away. It took me eons to get the photos out because brain had other ideas, but we’re here now. shot on
