A small reminder in writing, as a freelance photographer, I have a duty and responsibilities to keep anyone at a photo shoot I do safe and make sure the environment is a good place for them to be.
I also need to point out that other photographers out there as freelance photographer's can charge heavy rates for their time and efforts, with the understanding they take time out from their day to do the shoots for you, my rates under freelance would be £60- per hour or £60- per session, with MCM expo being so expensive just to attend the convention, this cost is wavered and is done as a free session done openly to all.
It does not matter if it's X-Men shoot or sci-fi or Star Trek or Star Wars, the groups can obtain their photos from me from the convention for free, the passed 11 yrs no funds have been asked for, no hotel costs - no entry fee- no photo shoot bill, if you do the maths taking off 2 yrs from COVID shut down, that bill is quite high.
So as a reminder to all, I wish to make this perfectly clear, this is my choice as a freelance photographer, with the rules of freelance photographer in hand.
