Moments from the past few weeks.
1. Excitedly trying on outfits for a holiday in June - already!
2. A pair of coots have made their nest on the river at the end of the garden. A sunken bike is the basis for this urban waterfowl castle. 8 eggs kept warm day and night by madam Coot. Whilst mister Coot diligently and consistently tends to her little island. The eggs are due to hatch any day.
3. This pot of ranunculus makes my heart DANCE!
4. A favourite corner of my home tended to with love. My painting of a Greek island, Spetses, which I went to for 4 years with a great love. A happy place I’ll always hold close to my heart.
5. I actually cried when I saw that my darling friend Pip had cleared, swept and built a base for a fire ready for me to light when he stayed at Easter. I do absolutely everything myself these days. It was quite overwhelming how much I appreciated his thoughtfulness.
6. Morning sunlight on the tulips in my sitting room just asking to be captured.
7. Our Easter Monday breakfast table.
8. The ranunculus pot again, and my studio looking as if it’s moved itself to Southern Italy.
So much gratitude for these moments, and this spring.
