Today we met the Prince of Wales with the young mentees from the We Move Forward Project that Children in Need made possible.

Was amazing to be back with the boys from SABA youth charity to talk about the impact this photography project had in their lives. I love that Jeremiah wants to become a photographer now, and Elijah beaming with confidence. Some important conversations were had about empowerment, access and the future, and lots of smiles from the young people.

Thanks to for having me. Loved working with the entire team. 💖

This holiday it was lovely to receive this touching award by Hahnemühle UK

Definitely not something I expected but did make my heart full, as I love all what they do and the artists they work with ❤️ I try hard to get the community work seen to highlight what we don’t always get exposed to. I’m not always successful but I try my best. So it meant a lot to get gifted this.

Close ups of the Croydon NHS campaign portraits & their words 💙

As part of the Kindness Matters initiative, which aims to tackle the increasing cases of violence and aggression that staff face, this is the story from another one of the Consultant Neurologists, Dr Arani:

“Despite trying to keep calm and answering the patient’s questions, she started shouting and became very aggressive,

“I had to go out of the room to ask one of the healthcare assistants to help support me and wondered whether I needed to call security because of the verbal abuse.”

It’s important that whether you’re receiving care at one of our services, or visiting and supporting a loved one, we remember to to extend kindness, empathy, and respect to everyone so that together we can create a community where everyone feels welcomed and supported.
