Our adventure began under the soft light of morning, as we set out on a gently undulating trail. At first, the path felt welcoming, shaded by the early hours and easy beneath our feet. But as the day wore on and we left the shelter of the trees, the heat began to rise, and with it, the challenge. The dust clung to everything—the trail, our boots, and even the air we breathed—turning the morning into a test of endurance. Yet, the landscape around us was breathtaking: enormous boulders, known as erratics, scattered across the ground like forgotten relics from an ancient glacier’s retreat. These massive rocks, some weighing thousands of tons, were a reminder of the forces that shaped this land long before any human foot stepped here.
