Last week we travelled down to London for the intimate wedding ceremony of Jess & Archu at Chelsea Town Hall and then onto for their wedding reception.

We had a lot of fun walking the grand marble halls of the Mandarin Oriental capturing these two in their first moments as husband and wife 🤍

We’re coming into spring, although it doesn’t feel like it with this weather recently, but we are. Trees are starting to blossom and bulbs are beginning to bloom.

This time of year always feels like the time to prepare for the season ahead. We have been stockpiling film and purchasing new equipment so that we continue to be ahead of the curve for all of our upcoming weddings.

And trust us, we will have some incredible events to share this year ✨

Soft skin tones, true and rich colours, sharp details, and elegant bokeh.

Film photography has always plucked at our heart strings… the beauty it can create is profound, but the process is mesmerising.

Everything is mechanical, the clicks and clacks of tiny gears moving to open the shutter and capture the photons before it onto light sensitive celluloid.

From the very first time my grandfather gave his little film camera I was obsessed. Hooked, I was hooked into a world I did not know then would become my life.

That little Olympus still comes to weddings with us, 50 years since its creation it is still capturing light, moments, emotion.

Timeless.
