This year is my second solo exhibition at Photo London, again represented by UP Gallery, featuring two very different photographic series.
𝙄𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 uses paper, tape, and wire to create site-specific installations that engage with their surroundings. The interplay of reality and illusion is captured using a 4×5 camera, leaving behind only the images from these encounters with nature.
In 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙨, I roam Taipei like a hunter, capturing fleeting moments. Back in the studio, I cut and rearrange the images to break free from single-scene narratives and create entirely new landscapes.
Both series are intuitive responses, not conceptual arguments.
I quickly tire of repetition and often act on impulse: “Why not try it?” Once I begin, I dive in completely, exploring new materials and techniques. I love collaborating across disciplines, challenging established methods, and embracing each creative process as something new and rewarding.
Rather than just photography, I see this as a dialogue through the lens—with something beyond the natural world.

今年是我第二次以個展形式參加 Photo London,一樣由絕版影像館代理。這次展出我兩個不同形式的攝影系列作品。
《之間》系列中,我以紙片、膠帶、鐵絲等材料介入特定場景,透過裝置與空間對話,再用 4×5 相機捕捉真實與虛幻交錯的畫面。帶走的,是我與自然對話中留下的影像。
《時間標本》裡,我像獵人般穿梭台北街頭,捕捉那些讓我心動的瞬間,回到工作室後裁切、重組影像,打破單一場景和連續紙張的限制,重新構築全新的場景。
這兩個系列的創作,不是為了辯證什麼,而是出於一種直覺的回應。
我很容易對單一事物感到厭倦,多數時候只是憑著一股衝動行動:「試試看吧,不試怎麼知道呢?」一旦開始,就會全心投入,學習新的技術和材料。
我熱愛探索未知,也喜歡與不同領域的專業人士合作,在合作中挑戰慣有的工作方式與思維。我享受每一次創作過程帶來的不同經驗。
與其說這是攝影作品,不如說是透過鏡頭,與某種超越自然的存在展開一場互動。
