2nd engagement of the day - The Prince of Wales visits the village of Bainbridge in Wensleydale.

He visited the River Bain Hydro plant, a
community-owned hydroelectric power station which powers around 30 homes locally and is expected to save more than 3,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide over its 40-year life.

Before making an impromptu visit to Hammonds Butchers, then greeting the locals on the village green - lucking the Prince didn't get ran over as one of the photographs shows a close shave.

The Prince spent time with farmers from across Swaledale, learning about their experiences on multi-generational farms and exploring both the opportunities and challenges shaping modern farming today.

He also treated them to cake from the Dales Bike Centre in Reeth!
