Funny Face Action Cat. Let us know your thoughts 👇 and tag a cat lover. 😻

The best time to observe big cats being active, especially Lions, is first thing in the morning, they have so much energy, and when Mum joins play time, it’s fun to watch. Definitely makes you happy!

SEB Pride in Ol Kinyei in June. Take me back!

One cub takes on Mum from the left.

Funny face Lioness as she falls to the ground like she has been got, comical moment as the other cub waits for her to fall and lay siege.

The moment in full.

Fancy joining us in 2028. You know what to do!

We take a look at the big cats - both real and legend – that have roamed the wilds of the UK.

With very few adult breeding female Cheetahs in the Masai Mara every single big cat is very important to this precious world. They really do need our help for these cats to avoid localised extinction.

Kuleta, June. If you look closely she has a very small injury on back right leg, caused no problems.

Hope to see her again in a few months time.

The Unsteady King. Does this resonate with you after a long slumber?

After waking up this big male lion seemed wobbly underfoot, a big cat plodding step by step down the bank. No doubt a little stiff.

Great to see his scars all healed from the last time I saw him after being beaten up by neighbouring Lions.

Photographing Lions has to be one of my favourite past times. Roll on February 2027!

Drinking it up by Paul Meek | Big Cats + Wildlife Photography

The Iberian Lynx is often found in hot environments where the temperatures can hit 40+C. Having fresh water is invaluable, improving their chances of survival. This one drank it up for many minutes.

As ever any likes, comments, reshares always really appreciated 😘

Introducing the Endangered Iberian Lynx. Did you know?

The Iberian lynx, or Lynx pardinus, is a medium-sized wild cat that lives only on the Iberian Peninsula.

These majestic cats are a conservation success story in Spain, with population numbers as low as 100 in 2002, numbers have risen to over 400.

These cats are difficult to observe, 30+ hours of waiting for 13 minutes of action. Patience is a must.

This female was captured at 9pm, with very little light available, we had 10 minutes of her beauty in our presence. A-Mazing!

Camera settings: 1/1600sec, f2.8 and ISO 2000.

Spain, I will be back!

Iberian Lynx, I will be back!

This is what is missing in the UK.

More to follow. I look forward to hearing your comments and feedback. 🇪🇸 🐈

It has a rather striking look, with a short tail, tufted ears and a spotted coat. One of its most distinctive features is the unique facial ruff, which is made of longer fur around its face and neck.

The Iberian lynx’s fur is usually a mix of yellowish and rusty colours, and the spots help it blend in nicely with the bushes.

The Iberian Lynx in all its glory. What a cat!
