I know that. And it was intentional.

In creative projects, I love playing with colour, grain, angles and mood.
They give me the freedom to experiment, explore new ideas, locations and step outside my comfort zone.

And I truly love how it turned out.

It’s time to step out from behind the lens and say hi! 📸 Here’s a glimpse into my world and what makes me, me:

✨ Julia
🌍 Born in Riga, Latvia, and lived here most of my life
🎂 Almost 30, and honestly? I still can’t quite believe it
♓ Pisces
🏙️ Big city girl. I could never live in the countryside. The rhythm, the noise and the energy of the city are exactly where I belong
✨ Introvert at heart but photography is my superpower. It helps me step out of my comfort zone and connect with so many amazing people
🧠 Overthinker. I just can’t help it. I overanalyze everything, with or without a reason
☕ Tea lover. I can easily drink 5+ cups a day. Tea is my fuel
🐥 Chicken lover. I could eat it every day. It’s my ultimate comfort food
🍵 Collecting Starbucks mugs from every country I visit. It’s my favorite way to keep travel memories alive
🚗 Drive addict. Give me a car and a road and I’m happy
❄️ I’m always freezing so being outside means at least three layers on me

January. It was eleven degrees below zero, but that did not stop us from meeting and going into the forest.

I was with Julia and Moti, a corgi who was very happy to walk, but not very interested in being photographed. She kept moving, exploring, doing everything except posing. Still, I managed to catch a few frames. Treats helped, as always.

I fell into the snow more than once. My hands and my butt were frozen, my clothes soaked, and yet I regret nothing.

I keep saying that I do not like winter. I do not like snow or cold.
But I love winter photos. They always feel magical. 💫
