We came across St Margaret’s Church in Hales a beautifully preserved Norman Church in Norfolk not far from Norwich..

Medieval Sun Dial etched into the Masony work? ☀️

At St Margaret’s Church in Hales near Norwich Norfolk we found this Sun dial scratched into the masony work on the South doorway..

At least that’s what we thought it was! What do you think???

The church dates back to the 12th century 😮

One of the best preserved Norman Churches in England!? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⛪️

We visited this lovely little church in Hales near Norwich in Norfolk recently dating back to the 12th century with its beautiful round tower, exquisite masonry work & Thatched Roof..

We also found something we wasn’t expecting that we will feature on our page very soon!

A Norfolk Threshing Barn with Crow-Stepped Gables circa 1600’s in date..

Amazing the History you see if you know what to look for! This barn is 200-300 years old & is still being used today by our farmers!

This one is located in Thurton near Norwich.. What do you like best, the traditional red bricks, the thatched roof or the Gable end?
