A quiet afternoon exploring the New Forest this week. 🌿🦌

Plans changed at the last minute, so instead of heading to Sidmouth, I stayed local and took a short walk through the Forest. It turned into a lovely afternoon, and I managed to capture a few moments along the way.

Sometimes the unplanned walks are the ones that surprise you. 📷😊

A lovely day on Brownsea Island, where the red squirrels can be a little more shy at this time of year, but I was lucky enough to spot one! 🐿️

Despite the recent heatwaves that affected much of the UK, Brownsea Island remains a beautiful and peaceful place to explore. A thoroughly enjoyable day surrounded by nature. 🌿📸

A heartfelt thank you to all the brave firefighters and everyone else involved in tackling and extinguishing the recent fire that affected this special area. Your courage, hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.

The New Forest is a very special place, and I hope we can all continue to protect and respect it for generations to come. 🙏🌿
