I've shot everything under the sun, (and studio lights) over the years... and still do, from fine jewellery brochures to automotive, from fashion assignments on a sunny foreign beach to the biggest room-sets... after all I'm a photographer, and think I can turn my lens to most things that come my way. I prefer to craft images in-camera with old-school lighting techniques rather than rely on photos
hop trickery, but that said the final image is all important regardless how it was achieved. I work any-where and every-where both in this country and others, and of course I can supply all my own equipment for any project, (Phase One, Hasselblad, Canon, Arri, Broncolor). The clients i've shot for is far too long to go through here, but includes most of the home interest companies, fashion houses, blue-chip and not so blue businesses. Currently I've been helping The Home Retail Group (Argos, Homebase & Habitat) and Next Home Shopping with their on-line photography requirements, and Imperial Bathrooms shooting some very nice brochure room-sets. Additionally to my 'behind-the-camera' experience i've quite a few years under my belt in a managerial roll... I've been studio manager, production manager and at the head of running client accounts for more than one studio. I know what is required to organise and shoot any scale of project from initial client contact, to briefings, to sourcing people and delivering the job on time and on budget. There is no substitute for experience and I have it in spades ! More of my images can be viewed at my website, www.robtomlin.com
