ALEX & DOM

Set in the countryside near Pollença in northern Mallorca, Finca Can Cap De Bou is just moments from the sea. Dating back to the 18th century, this beautiful historic finca is full of rustic Majorcan charm.

I had the absolute joy of staying here for a couple of days to capture Alex & Dom’s destination wedding. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by their wonderful guests who very quickly made me feel like one of the family.

The day was laid back and relaxed, suiting Dom and Alex perfectly. FUEGO GAUCHO supplied the most incredible Argentinian feast which was enjoyed with copious amounts of w**e.

Afterwards, the couple started the party with Dom on the guitar and Alex serenading us. This quickly led to everyone taking it in turns to sing, some seriously epic dance moves and finally, a drunken jump into the pool.

The couple created a day that was completely unique to them. Just brilliant food, brilliant people and a whole lot of fun. I left feeling very lucky to have been part of it.

THE PORTRAIT STUDIO

Once the formalities of the day are over, everyone begins to let loose and the party gets started.

For an additional two hours, everyone can get their own moment in the spotlight. With gentle direction from me, we’ll create a set of Editorial portraits that feel polished and fun.

Come as a couple, bring your best friends, gather the family or step in on your own. There’s plenty of room for ch*****ne, props and fun poses.
It’s additional coverage but it adds something new to your day and your gallery too.

A sophisticated alternative to a traditional photo booth, The Portrait Studio combines professional lighting and gentle direction with the fun and spontaneity of your wedding guests as they celebrate your day.

YIU YIU & DAN

It may have been the hottest day of the year so far but there was no siesta needed at Yiu Yiu & Dan’s incredible wedding at Bourton Hall.

Knowing the light would be on our side, we used the drinks reception for family portraits in the garden and saved the couple’s portraits until after dinner, making the most of the venue’s epic grounds during golden hour. It didn’t exactly cool down but the light was much softer and, honestly, worth melting for.

Wedding days always remind me how precious grandparents are. Yiu Yiu’s mum and grandmother joined us for bridal prep and knowing how much they mean to her, it was important to pause and create some iconic portraits of these three incredible women together.

First dances are always a little bit magical at Bourton Hall hall because they come with a second confetti moment. Guests gather on the stairs, handfuls of confetti at the ready, waiting for the perfect moment to shower the couple. The most perfect way to kick off the evening and open the dance floor.

GRACE & MARK

I always love an excuse to escape to The Lakes and had been very much looking forward to Grace & Mark’s big day at the beautiful Cragwood Hotel. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and 90% of the wedding took place outdoors including their ceremony, drinks reception and first dance. A glorious golden hour arrived just in time for their cake cut and painted the sky with colour as the band started to play.

Partying under the stars was a rare treat for a UK wedding and surrounded by the epic countryside, the whole day felt like a beautiful escape from the real world.

Grace & Mark, huge congratulations to you both. Here’s to many more years of dancing under clear skies together.

OLIVIA & JOHN

Solara Shores | North Yorkshire Luxury Wedding Venue has one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen at a wedding venue. The sea changes colour as they day goes on and I don’t think you can ever get tired of looking at it. It’s definitely been a beautiful backdrop for my images but the thing that stands out most from this collection is not the impressive setting; it’s the unadulterated joy that radiates from this wonderful couple.

There was so much laughter throughout the day, an abundance of happy tears and a huge crowd of family and friends who clearly adore them. Weddings like this are why I love this job so much.

For 15 years I wrote & directed children’s television at the BBC, helping to bring stories to life.

It might seem like an unusual path into wedding photography but it taught me some of the most valuable skills I use every single wedding.

Storytelling. Staying calm when everything changes.

Spotting moments before they happen. Working to tight deadlines. Organising fast moving days.

Building trust with people in front of the camera.

The cameras are different now but the goal is the same. I’ve always wanted to tell stories that make people feel something.

Turns out children’s telly was the perfect training ground after all.

EMILY & LAWRENCE

Oh my, what a perfect day at Pembroke Lodge.

From our very first conversation, I knew Emily & Lawrence’s wedding was going to be filled with joy, laughter and excitement. It didn’t disappoint.

Emily looked incredible in her gown from The Boutique & Co. The floral detailing on her shrug echoed the blooms on her veil and I have to admit, I’m completely obsessed.

Her bouquet by • LeAnn Newlin • Organic Flowers • Indianapolis• was a work of art, full of beautiful texture and somehow smelled just as incredible as it looked.

After their beautiful outdoor ceremony, Emily & Lawrence were waved off by their guests as they took a quiet drive together. Naturally, I couldn’t resist hopping in too.

As the evening light softened, we escaped into the gardens for golden hour before heading back for the cake cut and cèilidh. It may have been one of the hottest days of the year but that certainly didn’t stop their guests having the best time on the dance floor.

MEGAN & MATTHEW

This fab day took place at the beautiful Nunsmere Hall Hotel and was full of laughter, happy tears and epic dance moves.

With the weather dry enough for their outdoor ceremony to go ahead, Megan & Matthew got married in front of the venue’s pond which was so lovely! As their little girls walked down the aisle, they saw their dad and ran over to give him the biggest hug. I think everyone was crying at that point.

Afterwards, we gathered indoors for confetti only to find it had gone missing! Luckily, I always keep some emergency confetti in my car, so I nipped out to get it and the moment could still go ahead. Huzzah!

A delicious meal was followed by a wander down to the jetty, just in time for the most gorgeous golden light. The perfect opportunity for a drone shot too.

We got back just in time for the first dance and afterwards, the dance floor erupted and everyone was just having the best time.

An epic day for the loveliest couple. It was so much fun to share your big day with you.
