Captured By Cody is officially on Google & Google Maps! 📍

It might seem like a small thing, but for a small business, having a place where people can find me, discover my work and hear from previous clients is actually a pretty big deal.

STUDIO DIARIES | Bringing a little family history into the studio 🤍

This rocking chair has been in my family for over 100 years.

My grandad very kindly restored it for me and now it’s getting a new lease of life in the studio rather than gathering dust in storage.

I love the idea of taking something with so much history and giving it a new purpose.

One very old rocking chair, one very sentimental story and now hopefully lots of little people making new memories in it ✨

STUDIO DIARY | DIY Christmas Prep ✨

Apparently opening a photography studio means becoming a DIYer too… 😂

Today’s job: turning this little toddler bench into something that fits perfectly into the Christmas sets for Thursday’s Model Call.

So off to Screwfix we went for some sandpaper, followed by a lot of sanding, painting and absolutely winging it.

I had a very specific look in mind, something with a deeper, warm, rustic feel and I’m honestly SO happy with how it’s turned out 🤎

I can’t wait to show you what else I’ve got in store for the Christmas sets 🦌💫

Unboxing this year’s Christmas backdrops and I’m already obsessed.

As always, I’ve got my little team beside me… My mum is busy brainstorming what props to buy to bring the sets to life & my dad has brought Olive in to inspect the new backdrops 😂

These are fresh out of the box, so just wait until you see the finished sets once I’ve worked my magic 💫
