Hello! 👋🏻

9 months of posting (here and there - oops) and I’ve realised a lot of you probably have no idea who’s actually behind Flora & Frame. The chaos of two young children (one causing a little more chaos than the other), keeping on top of work and a degree, and never being the one in front of the camera have made for a pretty late introduction!

I’d say I’d promise to post more regularly, but with a brain as chaotic as my toddler there are just no guarantees 😂 Thank you for sticking with me, and hopefully I will see more of you soon!

✨ Meet The Team: Lisa ✨ 🛏️

The housekeeping team at The New Inn truly are the heart of everything you see when you arrive. They work incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure the bar, restaurant, and rooms are always looking their very best, creating that all-important first impression. We’re so grateful for everything they do, so let us introduce you to the team - starting with Lisa.

Lisa’s been part of the team for about a year and a half, helping keep everything looking its best and making sure our rooms are ready for guests to properly relax after a long day.

As always, our team love to recommend their favourites, and Lisa's ideal guest experience would be The New Inn Burger, paired with an ice cold glass of Baileys and a cosy evening in the Cabourne room - perfect for a long soak in the huge bath.

When she’s not at work, you’ll usually find her spending time with family or out on a walk. But it’s her New Inn teammates and the opportunity to meet new people that keep bringing her back!

It really has been a lot of fun stepping outside my comfort zone and into something new behind the scenes at . Getting to know more about and his knowledge and principles around cooking, local & wild ingredients and business ethos has been a great insight, and working with as part of such a welcoming team has made returning to work after maternity leave earlier than planned a lot less dreadful 😅

Looking forward to sharing more!

Teaming up with thenewinn_greatlimber has been thoroughly enjoyable so far - not just for getting to hang out with handsome chaps like George. 🐾

If you’re local (or even if you’re not!) I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by to browse the fabulous variety of dishes on offer in the cosiest setting around.

Winter's been long but Spring is approaching, and I'm preparing to throw myself back in along with the warmer weather. There are a number of themes that I'd really love to experiment with, with children of various ages. If you have children 0-8 I'd love to hear from you!

My goal is always candid portraiture that captures a personality, but sometimes I'm shown that the biggest personalities know exactly how to handle a session. Being able to clock a camera from 50 metres away is surely a skill that will take this one far in life! 😂💕
