It’s been a while since I’ve posted any work on here. From graduating my MA with a first, moving to London and settling into life in the city, shooting took a bit of a back step however the drive for inspiration continued with exhibition openings, galleries, meeting some of my absolute idols in the photographic world.

Starting back with some still life using natural light to keep my skills in practice was great to get back the focus and drive, even though it’s not what I want to be specialising in, it’s great to see how naturally it came back.

With the aim to get back into the flow with portraiture and fashion feel free to reach out to collaborate!

Day Tripper was shot with the idea of showing the freedom of the youth during the 1970’s and looks to the idea of groupies and the ever changing and evolving idea of the teenager and the progression and freedoms embraced by the post 60’s generation. The shoot, inspired by the freedom and fun captured in Cecil Beaton’s Bright Young Things era of work which I feel is reflected in the movement of 1970’s teenagers and the culture of following bands and artists. I styled the models looking at different areas within women’s fashion of the time, with nods to the hippie movement and glam rock with the use of patterns, cuts, and materials.
