Photojournalism has been a favourite of mine right from the beginning. To be able to tell a story through a photograph.

Here I have my Ballet dancer performing outside Regent House, whilst a cyclist passes by who is out of focus, thus drawing us into the main subject which is of course Charis!.

Things to take note in this photograph are:

1. Regent House (a historical landmark in Cambridge).
2. A cyclist passing by (an iconic symbol of Cambridge).
3. And last but not least my favourite performing arts, Ballet 🩰

You have to think about what you like and then piece together all the elements and then you can express your character through your art work.

Placing smart casually dressed ballet dancers in backstreets and alley ways creates such a cool and pleasing to the eye contrast!

The hard work is to search and find these locations. The very thing that separates the photographers from one another.

Looking forward to my next shoots as the weather is looking very promising, and I’ll be scouting for more of these locations and backstreets 🩰📸🙌🏽

No matter how advanced AI will get, it can never take away authenticity, real life experiences, meeting new people and having fun and enjoying the present.

I love exploring new places and buildings and capturing shots like these with talented people which are timeless. We can both look back at these images as a return ticket to all the above mentioned 🩰📸
