Class little trip to the Farne Islands yesterday. I couldn't feel my fingers with cold so i actually struggled to use the camera on the island. But im.happy with a few of the shots. Couple more to come later.
Id highly reccomend the tour with Billy shiels boat trips seahouses if you have not done it yet.

These two photos were take on the same night just as the sun was setting over the cheviots from seaton sluice. I turned my camera towards Blyth pier showing the golden glow over sky and sea.

The second picture was about half an hour after sunset taken just along from St Marys light house. Showing the stunning reds blues and purple hues, which can only be seen as the light is scattered through the lower part of our atmosphere once the sun is below the horizon.

Looking over from Tynemouth to Souter light house and marsdens rock as the mist rolled in.
Alot of people can think a flat sky makes a photo boring but i think it can make a scene more atmospheric. Or give a calming effect.
Whats your thoughts?
