𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗻𝗲𝘆 (𝗥𝗜𝗣)
It is with profound sadness that we learn of the death of our dear friend, Sean Gaffney.
A true clubman, 'Gaff' attended his first Newry match as a supporter in 1952, before joining the club in 1980 and dedicating the next 44 years in a variety of roles including groundsman and kit manager.
Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him, across the Irish League family and beyond, will have been touched by Gaff's quick wit, his caring nature and his love for the club.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Gaff's family and friends at this difficult time.
73 years of support, 44 years of service, a lifetime of memories.
