David is a Devon / Dartmoor based professional photographer specialising in landscape, seascape, travel, architecture, astro, infrared and film photography. It takes all of the basic tricks of propaganda, marrying them to the tricks of casino gambling and slot machines alike, and basically playing with your instincts - fear and anger are the two most dependable ways of doing that. They have create

d a set of tools to allow advertisers to exploit that emotional audience with individual level targeting - 2.1 billion people, each with their own reality, and once everybody has their own reality they are relatively easy to manipulate. I spend my time working hard, being creative and enjoying my life without this antagonising, psychological chimpanzee shrieking on my shoulder and to be frank, I suggest you switch this off, go outside and do the same.

This is completely mad - I am running a one-day tour shooting a wild west town / film set on the 13th June 2026 (it's short notice), based in Kent (London borders) - private shoot day with re-enactors!

Hope you're all doing well. Just processing a lot of new work from Ireland and Cappadocia, but finishing off putting some Majorca shots on my website. A lot of fun was had shooting this lighthouse. A classic for obvious reasons.

An immersive video I made about my time in Northern Iceland. I shot this on a Canon R3 using a range of lenses. I also mixed some audio recordings on location with ambient music.

After returning to Northern Iceland this week, the results have been a fascinating mix. I finally got back to Selfoss and Detifoss waterfalls as a snow melt made it possible to drive. High winds have blown most of the snow off the mountains, but the ice is still deadly. You’ve got to be so careful. I’ve been shooting loads of video content and as well as stills and I’m hoping to release a 4k video with audio I’ve recorded next month.

Well that was an intense week - I just spent the last nine days running a tour in Northern Iceland in temperatures as low as -20º. So many photographic opportunities with some great light, like this beautiful waterfall - Godafoss. I also shot a lot of 4k video with the Canon R3 which I will showcase when I get my image processing done.

If you're interested I will be running another tour in the same time next year.

I went to Berlin last July and ran a photo tour out there that I am repeating in July 2025 with just five places. It was such a blast with so many different styles to shoot - it was really worth it.

Everything from a huge array of underground stations, historical and modern architecture - it's a very mature city that I greatly enjoy spending time photographing.
