Naturally in Norfolk - Zakopane, Poland 🇵🇱

Here are my top locations and walks in the Tatra Mountains (walks can be very busy, would suggest visiting just after the summer or early in the morning) 🥾

We stayed in Kościeisko, a short drive from Zakopane, a gorgeous picturesque village 🪴

Other things to do:
📍 Go to a traditional restaurant, where you will eat yummy polish food and see some live music
📍 Walk or tram up to Gubalówka to watch the sunset or go down the mountain rollercoaster
📍 Visit the gorgeous markets

Walk 167: Itteringham Circular🌿

It’s good to be back! A wonderful 5 mile circular, beginning in Itteringham, following footpaths past streams, woodland and even a family of gnomes 🍄?! We made our way to Little Barningham, past gorgeous houses and horses 🐴. We saw so much wildlife on this walk 🦌

We stopped at Mannington near the end of our walk for some refreshments ☕️ It was a beautiful place and we will definitely be returning 💕

Walk from “Walking in Norfolk” by Laurence Mitchell and Cicerone Press Guidebooks 🥾 (There are lots of walks in Itteringham and Mannington Hall is a great place to visit on its own)

Naturally Not So Norfolk - Wicken Fen Nature Reserve🌿

Wicken Fen Nature Reserve National Trust in the East National Trust

Located in Cambridgeshire, Wicken Fen is the National Trusts oldest nature reserve and England’s most famous Fen! There are lots of fun things to do and explore around the fen: there are a range of walks, hides and even a woodland play area! We did the summer walk and saw a range of wildlife from butterflies to lizards 🦎 . It was a beautiful day! We finished our exploring with a drink and some food from Docky Hut café. On our way back to the car park we looked into Fen Cottage which took us back to the 1930s. A glorious place to get my first National Trust passport stamp! We will definitely be returning!
