Hello Friday! ✨
One I photographed back in September for my monthly styling feature in the Christmas issue of (which is about to vanish off the shelves for the new issue).
I am definitely NOT this organised IRL but my wrapping will probably be something along these lines - brown paper, some sort of upcycled ribbon (this pretty silk ribbon is from ), and an embellishment of some sort either from nature, or from my stash of old buttons and old costume jewellery.

Hello December! ✨✨✨
A recycled pic from last year, but it was a massive faff to photograph as all those sparkles are actually there in the scene, not photoshopped, and I was on a really high ladder, so I’m giving it another outing! ✨😆
I gave my living room a makeover this weekend, I will try and take some snaps to share with you.

Hello Friday! 🍂
I popped my Instagram live cherry yesterday which was fun (you can see it over at , I was v v nervous!!), and I have also posted my first proper video in my IGTV about styling a festive table with vintage finds, do pop over if you need some inspiration, I even made crackers out of vintage Sanderson fabrics 💕So it’s been a week of firsts here!
Anyway, I’m still not quite over the Autumn vibes (until next week, then bring on the sparkles and baubles) I dyed this piece of fabric back in the summer using avacado skins, so easy to do and such a pretty colour.

Queen of the hydrangeas 🍂
I took a photo two years ago which got featured by Instagram for (swipe to see it), and for a while I have fancied giving it another go, but with a bit of a twist - as it was I needed to get the dinner in the oven and the Christmas cake out of the oven, and the petals were tickling her face, so I ended up doing almost exactly the same 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, my son helped me make a stop go animation which I’ll put in my stories to show the process ✨
As per 2 years ago, very much inspired by Anne With An ‘E’, which is so wonderful I might have to watch again...

Has anyone else’s app still not updated? (I’m destined to always be a bit behind with everything here on Instagram 😆). From what I hear, I’m going to make the most of mine not updating, my clumsy fingers can’t cope with loads of new buttons...

Apparently a new season of The Crown is out which is rather exciting, I need to binge watch season 2 and 3 first, might even have a cheeky glass of wine and put the fire on...so rock n’roll here 😎

An old one but it is always so perfect for November 🖤✨
Thinking of those people, families, small shops and businesses for whom this month (and beyond) will be so tough. Please support small shops and businesses if you can, especially for your Christmas shopping, many of them sell online and via Instagram now ❤️
On another note, it’s been lovely to see pics shared under , (see my post from last Sunday for more info), so many gorgeous, twinkly images, I will share some of my favourites in my stories later.
