at Newmillerdam! 🐶

🐾 Say hello to Luna — the gorgeous girl who stole our hearts the same day we met her bestie, Buster the Shar-Pei! 🐶💞 These two hit it off instantly on their woodland walk — chasing leaves, sharing sniffs, and just loving each other’s company.

Luna had the sweetest personality. She was a little shy at first — wagging her tail from a distance, unsure about approaching — but clearly thrilled to be out and about with her friend. Once she warmed up, her playful side really shone through!

If you remember Buster’s post from the other day, here’s the other half of the dream team. Luna brought the wiggles, the energy, and a whole lot of love. 💃🦴

There’s nothing better than watching pups bond like this — just pure joy, fresh air, and wagging tails at Newmillerdam. 🌳🐾

📸 Meet Buster — the gloriously wrinkled Shar-Pei with an unforgettable face… and absolutely zero interest in playing model.

From the start, it was clear: Buster had his own agenda. While I was ready to capture his best angles, he was far more focused on sniffing every leaf, ignoring every cue, and giving me exactly one glance before wandering off like I’d interrupted something important. 😂

Obedience? Not his thing.
Personal space? Mandatory.
Charisma? Off the charts.

And honestly? That’s what made the shoot so great. His “I do what I want” attitude, those iconic folds, and his unbothered energy came together to create photos that were real, hilarious, and full of character — just like Buster himself. 🐶🐾

Sometimes the best shots aren’t the posed ones — they’re the perfectly imperfect moments you never planned for. 💜

A couple of months ago at Anglers Country Park, I met the lovely Bella — a classic Spaniel through and through.

Camera? Me? Treats? Not a chance.
Water, a ball, and her human? Now that is Bella's definition of heaven. 💦⚾️❤️

She zoomed through the grass, tail wagging like a wind-up toy, completely in her element and totally uninterested in my lens. But hey, who needs a pose when joy like that is pure, unfiltered, and absolutely beautiful?
Spaniels... they may not care about the camera, but they sure know how to steal the show. 📸🐶

But somehow, between the zoomies and splashes, I caught some absolute gems — because even chaos can be photogenic when you’re Bella. 😎🐶

A couple of weeks ago, our resident mischief-maker and style icon, Buster, hit the sunflower fields at Farmer Copleys — and what a shoot it was! 💛🐶

Let’s just say: he understood the assignment. From playful zoomies between the blooms to soulful stares into the distance, he brought the energy, the charm… and just a hint of chaos. 😏

Whether bounding through petals or striking his best “are you getting my good side?” pose, Buster proved (yet again) why he’s the ultimate brand rep. 😎

📸 Rescue spotlight: Meet Lola 🖤
2-year-old Boxer Cross - The Sweetest Fighter 💪🐾

We had the absolute honour of capturing this beautiful girl’s spirit through our lens for the amazing Pontefract Dog Rescue — and wow, what a journey she's been on!

When Lola arrived, she was severely neglected: underweight, dehydrated, and suffering burns. 💔
But that’s not who she is anymore.
Fast forward just a few weeks, and her transformation is nothing short of incredible. 💜

Now? She's full of love, light, and a little bit of sass. Her sweet nature shines through every wag of her tail, and she just adores attention.
Lola’s personality has truly come alive. 💕

Over the last month, we’ve watched her blossom into an affectionate, playful, and downright cheeky character who’s ready for her fresh start. 🐶💕

🐾🏡 Lola’s ideal home:
Lola walks beautifully on the lead (though she can be strong when excited — Boxer energy is real!).
She’ll need a confident handler and, importantly, a home where she’s the only dog.
Due to her past trauma with starvation, she is food and treat aggressive around other dogs. It's understandable, but it means she must be kept on lead around others and have her own safe, dog-free space at home.

✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ Desperate to be loved
❌ Not suitable with other dogs

Lola has been through the worst 💔 — now she deserves the very best. If you can offer her a safe, loving, dog-free home, please reach out.

It was a real pleasure capturing some truly beautiful moments at the dog show — from wagging tails to winning smiles, the day was filled with joy and unforgettable memories. We loved every minute of it. 🐾📸

We’re also incredibly grateful for the chance to showcase our products at our stall and connect with fellow dog lovers and their gorgeous pups throughout the day.

🐾Meet Bella — Our First Rescue Spotlight! 🐾

We're so proud to launch our new partnership with Pontefract Dog Rescue by introducing the first of many beautiful dogs in need of loving forever homes — all showcased through our lens. 📸❤️

✨ Bella | 2-year-old Collie x Labrador ✨

This gorgeous girl was rescued from a local vets, where she was heartbreakingly scheduled to be put to sleep — through no fault of her own. Thanks to Pontefract Dog Rescue, who stepped in urgently, she was saved just in time. Now she's safe and waiting for her second chance at life. 💛

Bella is a super energetic, bouncy girl who loves nothing more than playing fetch (with two balls, of course!) and thrives when she is outdoors in a secure, enclosed space.

💬 Bella is:
🐶 Full of life and excited to meet new people
🐶 Best suited to an active, pet-free home
🐶 Not suitable for elderly owners or homes with small children (she’s very boisterous!)
🐶 Strong on the lead – needs someone confident and experienced
🐶 Needs to stay on-lead around other dogs due to lack of early socialisation

🏡 Her ideal home:
✅ Active lifestyle
✅ Enclosed garden
✅ No other pets
