This heron had literally just taken off after being startled by a passerby, thankfully I was shooting a few products and was able to switch the camera as it took flight...

Genuinely I had never seen an angler turn up, catapult a few freebies, take one cast, and catch the queen of a lake, so quickly and so calmly.

Until this day.....

I'd been sitting on "The Pits", with the rods out and practicing with the camera, all day without a liner or beep.

Lee turns up and well........

I got to witness the above and share Lee's moment with the queen, Joan, and what an absolute honour it was to do the pictures.

The pressure of a catch shot for a mate, is immense.
The hours, days, weeks and months that go into some of our catches is crazy.

A call from Con on a Saturday morning saying he'd had one of the big commons on the lake he was fishing and I was straight in the motor with the camera gear.

The whole way there praying that the natural lighting would be good and that I could get a shot or 2 that he could look back on in years to come.

This was an immaculate common off the back of some great angling......

As a carp angler, over the last few years I have naturally been drawn to photography, not only catch shots, but product shots, wildlife life and scenics.
This has lead into other forms of photography, which I have built up a catalogue of, and this is going to be the place where I share it with the Facebook world.

I will not only be sharing the above, but also little tips and tricks with the camera and also the occasional fishing tip.

For some of you this will be of no interest and others will enjoy the content I have to share.

Either way it's all love 😎🙏🏽
