Steve Iso and I got chatting to this chap on the streets of Norwich a couple of weeks ago....we nicknamed him "The Carpenter" as he had a pencil behind his ear.
I like this street portrait but it is really a fail on my part, if you view the image full screen you will notice the shallow depth of field and the sharpest part of the image is his beard.....The sharpest part of a good portrait should be the subjects eyes !
I rushed the shot and failed to hit the point of focus.

Just spent a little time this evening scanning negatives.
This picture is one of a set I took while out on a solo walk early one morning with a Canon AE1 camera. The film stock is Agfa Vista 200 which I bought from Poundland several years ago. At the time I purchased 40 rolls £1 each.....Now with the soaring cost of film I wish that I had bought 100 rolls. The average price of a roll of film is now £15
Anyway this is a chunk of Anglia Square, I remember this place with a sense of wonderment as a child, it was very futuristic . Now it is just crumbling and abandoned.
