Millie wanted some relaxed couple photographs with her partner, who is regularly deployed overseas. We moved a few dates around to make the most of the time he was home, and captured this lovely, fun session together.

This year also marks the end of his 10 years of service in the Army, so it felt like a lovely time to capture this chapter of their story.

I also wanted to recreate a classic vintage photograph of a husband and wife greeting each other after the war — and their version, worked so well! ♥️

A little nod to an old photograph, but completely their own.

I have a beautiful natural light studio in Daybrook, Arnold that I’d love to make more use of! 🤍

At the moment I use it for my photography, but throughout the year I’d love to offer it out to another photographer, content creator or someone who needs an affordable space to work in peace.

Because the end of summer also means the end of another little chapter you don’t get to rewrite. Hudson's going into year 6 this year! 😭

Next summer, they’ll be older. Bigger. A little more independent.

All of me wishes I could press pause. Because they’ll never be this little again. 🥺🤍
