This is a short story of how getting lost helped me find my purpose…
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗨𝗩𝗘® — 𝗔 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁.
It’s been well over a year since the name 𝗠𝗨𝗩𝗘® was forged on top of a hill in Delph.
The W3W location staring back at me was ///𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗱.𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴.𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 — and honestly, it couldn’t have described my life any better.
I was 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗱 by my work, isolated behind a screen, unsure where I was heading or what I was building.
I was 𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 in a new direction, desperate to find my way before burnout hit.
And deep down, I knew something had to 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 — fast.
That’s where 𝗠𝗨𝗩𝗘® began.
Not as a logo.
Not as a business idea.
But as 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀, 𝗮 𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 — a reminder to get outside, get moving, and reconnect with real people instead of living inside an inbox.
So this time, I stopped playing around.
I trademarked 𝗠𝗨𝗩𝗘® and committed to building something real.
And then something unexpected happened…
I walked into the world of .
Sam () asked if I’d make him a video.
Hearing people’s reactions took me straight back to the early days of my career — when 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 felt exciting, not exhausting.
Then came the 𝗢-𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟-𝟭 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 Halloween promo — another creative win.
Then a 𝗛𝗬𝗥𝗢𝗫 session, packed with energy like nothing else.
Along the way, I designed a new HYROX OL1 ( logo — merging the 𝗢, 𝗟 & 𝟭 into a clean, contemporary mark. (More on that soon.)
And through it all, this community — 𝗬𝗢𝗨 — gave me the motivation, belonging and inspiration I didn’t know I needed.
So here we are.
A new chapter.
A new brand.
A new identity with real meaning.
