Steve Liptrot Photography Nature Photographer, Tutor & Guide based in South Oxfordshire. I have always had an interest in photography from a very early age. It was my dad’s fault!

He bought me an Instamatic Kodak for a Christmas present which took twelve black and white grainy photos and since then I have been hooked! I offer 1-2-1 photography tuition courses at a location that is both within easy reach of me and the client. Wildlife photography is my first love but motorsport, landscape, transport and macro photography are subjects I can offer help in. I teach you ideal ca

ATLANTIC PUFFIN
Had a fantastic day on the Isle of May on Sunday. Approximately 100,000 puffins are on the island. Most of them were flying around with beaks full of sandeels!
Now I'm just waiting to board the ferry in Aberdeen for the 14 hour crossing to the Shetland Isles.

At the moment I'm currently on my way to the Shetland Isles for a couple of weeks. Stopped off at RSPB Loch Leven to break up the long trek. Took me 7 hours to get here!😴
The red squirrels here never fail to disappoint. Also lots of fledging birds about around the reserve as well. Loads of pics to follow!

Exmoor ponies at Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve serve as vital "living lawnmowers" for conservation grazing. A small, dedicated herd of four pure-bred Exmoors (two males and two females) resides on the reserve to help maintain meadow habitats and control tough vegetation.
