Moorside Fell Photography Currently using a mix of Nikon D60 & iPhone 15 📸

A Lancashire lass based within the Eden Valley, Cumbria, with ‘an eye’ for capturing everything ‘farm life’ & all that entails, telling the story through photos.

Captured this is colour originally but had to put it in black/white, makes it look classic 📸🐴

We love a cow photo paired with the best lighting & warmth 🐮📸

I’ve been a little MIA on here due to us hatching out a lot of chicks 😅🐥. Lots of floofies floating about at the moment so they’re taking a little priority through everything else happening in the background ✨

Pretty darn good for a first attempt at capturing a Hare mid-movement.

We’ve been out for a little drive around this evening & I finally managed to capture a Hare (properly). My god I am so proud of this one. They aren’t easy to photograph at all, so to zoom in through a gate & quickly snap this before it ran away is a massive achievement in itself. It’s a good job my camera settings were set right, this was a one shot photograph too. Had to share this one as I just couldn’t wait 🐇📸

“Black Beauty” 🐴📸

Lighting in photography is everything ✨. It’s something I constantly look for automatically when taking a photograph. It makes the photo & finishes it off.

In particular, it’s the way the ‘golden hour’ sunlight hits in just the right spots on this beauty’s face 🐴

Right now, I am enjoying exploring with my photography seeing what works & what doesn’t. Not every shot I take makes it but it’s through this learning curve that I can add to the growth in my knowledge so far. You truly never stop learning & it’s all trial/error. But you have to absolutely enjoy what curveballs & challenges photography as a whole throws at you. It’s definitely what makes me push myself more to challenge myself. Lighting can be a very tricky one to pull off, but I am rather pleased with this one.

They say you cannot capture the perfect photo but I say you can, this snapshot of spring in a nutshell. Perfectly timed & a sight in the Cumbrian countryside that never gets old.

I don’t know about you lot but I wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of those horns 🤔😆

The quiet beauty of a horse against the ‘golden hour’ sunset 🐴📸

Folks more locally to me, would there be any interest in both colour or black & white portraits taken over the summer months of your horses? Just something to think about as I am wanting to expand my portfolio 🥰

Just give this page or me a personal message & we can discuss further ✨

The first ever photo of a Hare I’ve taken & I’m pretty damn chuffed with this one. Didn’t even get out of the car thanks to a reasonably good long-ish lens 😎

I wasn’t sure how to crop it down but it worked out pretty good in the end 🐇📸

Just something a little different from my usual stuff 🥰

Happy Sunday ✨
