A huge congratulations to all the amazing participants, supporters, and sponsors who took part in the second annual Deafblind UK Rainbow Run on Sunday, who have collectively raised in excess of £10,000! A fantastic amount that is enough to fund 400 hours of specialist wellbeing support for deafblind people!

I absolutely love covering this event. The smiles, the colours, it is such a brilliant day to be a part of 🌈🌞✨🏃‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏽

We can’t wait to welcome you to the most colourful fun run in Cambridgeshire and cover you in colour! You're helping to raise much-needed awareness about dual sensory loss and your fundraising efforts will support brighter futures for people of all ages affected by deafblindness. 💜

Want to join the fun? You can still enter the Rainbow Run on the day (Sunday 6 September)! Registration is open between 09:00 - 11:00; simply visit the 'on the day' registration marquee in our event village: Ferry Meadows, Nene Park, Peterborough, PE2 5UU

On the day entry:
Adults: £25
Under 18s: £15 (under 3s go free)
Family (2 adults and 2 under 18s): £70

Paid entry includes Rainbow Run white t-shirt, colour paint sachet and finisher's medal. 🏅

Last year I was thrilled to find out that I was a finalist in the The BIPP International Print Masters Competition, after so many years of the dreaded imposter syndrome. These are the images that I submitted and I’m so thankful that I plucked up the courage to enter.

This fantastic competition is open again and I’m urging all my lovely fellow photographers to submit their work. It’s not like other competitions which tend to be more like a popularity contest or a battle of the algorithm, this is a chance for your images to be seen by peers who understand the artistry and hard work that goes into this craft. It’s also a great way to challenge yourself and get your work recognised by an institution that has been a cornerstone of the photography industry since 1901

So please, do yourselves a favour and get your images in. Deadline is 31st August!
