Calling all Pontypridd business owners! 🛑📸

We are filming a new documentary, Pontypridd: Over the Horizon, to showcase the heart and resilience of our town in the wake of COVID-19 and recent flooding.

Our main goal is to support local businesses and put Pontypridd on the map by celebrating the amazing people who make this community so special.

We’re looking for local shops and workers willing to feature in the documentary and share a quick interview about their experiences.

Pontypridd: Over the Horizon is a powerful documentary exploring how the dual impact of COVID-19 and devastating local flooding tested the resilience of a historic Welsh community.

Through the personal stories of shop owners and residents, the film reveals the profound economic and emotional toll these crises took on local businesses.

Yet, at its core, it is an uplifting tribute to the extraordinary solidarity and heartwarming spirit of the people who rallied to rebuild.

Ultimately, this project aims to put Pontypridd firmly on the map, celebrating the strength and character of a town looking hopefully toward the future.

What an absolutely incredible RCT Pride 2026! 🌈

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such an amazing day. The atmosphere, the love, and the support were incredible from start to finish.

We’re still working through all the footage, so there are plenty more videos to come over the next few days!

It was also an absolute pleasure to watch Michael Marouli, star of Drag Race UK vs the World, perform. What an incredible entertainer who had the crowd loving every minute!
