The brief for Joanne's 40th birthday cake was "rectangular buttercream cake on a gold board with gold Hello forty on top, lilac roses. pink peonies, yellow globe flowers and buttercream piping".

Another tv character I didn't know anything about. Hallie's mummy tells me she will only watch Tractor Ted so that's what it had to be for her second birthday. Daddy's favourite flavour of toffee sponge with butterscotch buttercream and along with Tractor Ted I did a cutting cake for thirty guests.

I love a very personal cake that is made for the birthday person in mind. The brief for this one was "Keiren is turning 30 and loves Pikachu, Star Wars, his electric guitar and keyboard plus he goes to a space themed cafe called Area 51", yep I can put all that on his cake.

I missed Ian's birthday as we were on holiday. He doesn't mind though as long as he has cake at some point so I did it the weekend after. Vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream. Airbrushed pattern on the sides then lots of 100's and 1000's for decoration.

I hope I got this one right. Jayne has a chocolate orange cake every year from me for her birthday, she just loves them. Her Mum asked for something fancy for Jayne's 40th but when I spoke to Jayne her words were "I know Mum wants to get me something big and fancy but I just want my usual chocolate orange cake". So I did her usual chocolate orange cake but added a daisy chocolate wrap, hand made edible daisies , chocolate orange pieces and for some height, a silver basket with edible daisies and leaves.
