Haven't been able to get out as much as I want over the past week or so, so instead I wanted to show everyone that you don't need to go to fancy places to see wonderful animals or take nice pictures. 📸
This curious little Dunnock came into the garden foraging for some food. They can be very shy so had to be still and patient but I would say it paid off. Sometimes you just have to patient and even in the most common places like your garden you will be able to see wildlife going about their business, a lot of the time it's actually quite fascinating to watch. Fun fact the Dunnock is widely known as a hedge sparrow, even though it isn't even a sparrow at all. 🧐

Nothing to see here..... Nothing to see here.... just a lovely friendly female mallard duck strolling back down memory lane to the river after coming up and practically wanting to sit on my lap haha 😆😆
Female mallard ducks are known as Hens if you didn't know, and are often the ones you hear when out and about. Although the males do 'quack' its actually the females which are the noisier of the two 🦆
So have a nice day, enjoy this picture and of course stay Quackers 😉😉😂😂

The Robin is such a common bird in the UK that it is often over looked apart from its lovely song. Most people hear their song daily but did you know that their song is not only for mating, it is also a war cry to warn off others from their territory. Often one of the first songs of the day to hear and one of the last. Robins have also been know to sing into the night, often triggered by artificial light off of street lamps. Robins are also year round singers, so no matter what month, day or time slot you're in, know that you will always be able to rely on the Robin to sing you cheerfully through. 🌇🌆🏙️🌃

Took the kids for a woodland walk a while back and right at the end when we were heading back we looked across to see this little Roe deer. 🦌
To be honest I think we were in the presence of royalty seen as he was wearing a little foliage crown haha 😄

Another coot wading its was through the golden waters of a flooded field. Something so simple and yet so mesmerising to watch. The calm paddles, the gentle sway and the tiny ripples leading out. Definitely takes the peaceful approach when paddling.

I like how this picture came out of this Eurasion Coot the other day. Nothing fancy, no splashing, no flying, just a simple glide through virtually still waters in a vibrant golden glow of sunset. 🌅

I hope that you can see the golden glow of this image but unfortunately I'm pessimistic, from the looks of it Facebook has slightly whitewashed the colour out of it 😢 if you can still see the lovely golden glow then let me know, if not and you know of a way to fix it then please let me know and I will try just that.

Everyone knows these absolutely stunning birds, the red kite, but did you know that not that long ago they were facing extinction in the UK and the only breeding pairs left were in Wales. Fortunately In 1990 reintroduction programmes started with the help of kites from Sweden and Spain. Now they are a much more common site, by early 2020's they had increased over a staggering 2000% thankfully. These have to be one of my favourite birds in the UK and I'm ever so glad that people made the right moves and helped this amazing predator species back on its feet...... well wings I guess 😉

The Goldcrest bird is one of Englands smallest if not smallest birds, can be quite difficult to photograph due to its size, skittishness and constant moving.
This little guy however was very happy to follow me up and down a small path as if curious on what I was doing. Unfortunately the weather was not as joyful as this little chap, but hey that's England for ya haha 😅 🌧️

Loved the opportunity to capture this lovely little owl with Feathers and Fur in Bracknell a while back. May not look it but this little guy was so fluffy and soft, half expected to see a build a bear tag attached somewhere haha

If you're ever down this way near bracknell its always a good time to pop in and say hello to the lovely staff and see the amazing birds they have there.
