It's been a fantastic return after lockdown - thank you to all my amazing customers! I'm now on holiday until Friday 25th June, but until then I'll leave you with an example of a recent restoration. See you soon!

Sometimes the only photo we have is in a locket. This doesn't have to be the case, as I can enlarge most locket photos to standard size prints, as this example shows. (Including 'adding in' sections to take the photo from oval to a rectangle in shape and repairing any damage.)

Hi All! I hope you're doing well in this lockdown/quarantine. If you get stuck for new things to do, why not try what a few of my customers are doing? They've started going through all their boxes of old photographs and picking out those they'd like to see restored, enlarged or even put onto canvas. Then, when we can all meet again, I can crack on and get them done, so you have something to look forward to. Here's one of the last ones I did before the lockdown began.

Just thought I'd share a couple of photos from the bridal prep of a recent wedding in Cornwall. Quite often overlooked when booking a wedding photographer, but can often create some of the most endearing photos of the day.

Todays photo from California was taken in Chinatown, San Francisco. This is a place I've wanted to see since I saw Big Trouble in Little China back in the 80's. We only saw a fraction of this amazing district, and it didn't disappoint.

Todays photo from California was taken at Santa Barbara beach. The early morning sea mist covering the wharf creates a great backdrop to this guitar player making his way across the beach.

Solitary Alcatraz. I really like this photo I took of Alcatraz, as the clouds were dark and oppressive, with the only sunshine breaking through highlighting the water - the one thing that stopping any escape from this former prison.

Alcatraz. It was more colourful than I imagined it to look. Or perhaps I've seen too many old black & white movies...😂
