I’m back!

After nearly six weeks of sunshine, swimming in the sea, cycling, eating A LOT and generally forgetting what day of the week it was, I’m finally back home.

I’m refreshed, tanned, and probably in need of another holiday to recover from this one.

I can’t exactly say it was a relaxing holiday — because, let’s be honest, I’m not sure the words “holiday” and “two boys” belong in the same sentence... But we had an amazing time, made lots of memories and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Now I’m really looking forward to getting back behind the camera and photographing all my wonderful clients again! 📸

And I have lots of exciting plans for this autumn:

🎃 October – pumpkins, cosy autumn sessions & gorgeous colourful leaves
🎄 November – Christmas photo sessions (yes, it’s coming already! 😱)

The daisy field is starting to bloom and it’s looking absolutely beautiful for photos ✨

I’ll be offering fun and relaxed mini sessions on 5–6 June — perfect for little ones to run barefoot through the flowers, cuddles at golden hour, and capturing those real family moments you’ll want to keep forever 🤍

Not sure what to wear for your family photo session? You’re definitely not alone—this is one of the biggest worries I hear from clients planning their family photoshoot.

The good news? Styling your family photo outfits doesn’t have to be stressful.

Start with a simple neutral colour palette (think soft tones and earthy shades), choose one outfit you love (usually mum’s), and build everyone else’s around that. The goal isn’t to match exactly—it’s to coordinate outfits for family photos in a way that feels natural and timeless.

Avoid bold logos or busy patterns, and go for textures like knits or linen - these photograph beautifully in lifestyle family photography and add depth without distraction. Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and confident in—because that always shines through in your family portraits.
