☀️ Sometimes it's the simplest scenes that stay with you.

No dramatic sunrise.
No famous landmark.
No perfect conditions.

Just a quiet country lane, autumn sunshine and a sky that seemed to have a story of its own.

The winding road, the old dry stone walls and the criss-crossing vapour trails all came together for just a moment. It's one of those photographs that still makes me pause every time I come back to it.

Photography isn't always about travelling hundreds of miles. Sometimes it's about noticing what's right on your doorstep.

🐦 Summer Evenings...

Sometimes the best wildlife moments happen just a few feet away.

I spent a while watching this family of young Swallows as they waited patiently for their next meal. Every few minutes one of the adults would return, insects in its beak, before disappearing again to hunt for more.

These moments only last for a short time before the youngsters are ready to fend for themselves, so it's always a privilege to witness them.

It's easy to get caught up chasing dramatic landscapes or fast jets, but scenes like this remind me that some of the most rewarding photographs come from simply sitting quietly and observing nature.

The Red Arrows – Precision in the Sky 🇬🇧✈️

There's something special about watching the Red Arrows perform. Every manoeuvre is flown with incredible precision, and every burst of red, white and blue smoke creates a moment that's gone in seconds.

These are six of my favourite images from this year's display, each capturing a different side of the team's incredible skill—from perfectly timed formations to dramatic solo passes through clouds of coloured smoke.

One image in particular stood out to me. The solo Hawk framed against the swirling red, white and blue smoke has been selected as a Limited Edition print, available exclusively through my website.
