Life has been a little hectic recently, so I never got around to finishing my “one year later” session series from my first anniversary back in March 💛

Haley and her wonderful family were actually the very first session I ever photographed, and since then she’s become a return client multiple times, including sessions with her lovely extended family whenever they come to visit from the States 😊

It was so special inviting them back to the beach one year later to catch up and document how much their boys have grown. Since then, I’ve also had the pleasure of photographing them with grandparents added into the mix too, which is always incredibly meaningful to capture.

Photos with grandparents often become some of the most treasured images we have.

Thank you again to Haley for all of your support over the past year, it genuinely means the world! 🥲💛

Sharing another one of my one-year anniversary sessions, this time with the wonderful Jennifer and her family, who I first met in March last year after she responded to my portfolio model call 🤎

Much like our first session, we were met with misty, windy weather, but the energy and excitement from her little family completely lit up the atmosphere, and it really shows in what we captured.

Our little boys are a similar age, so it was so lovely to catch up on toddler mum life and how quickly the past year has gone!

Sessions like this are some of my absolute favourites, capturing your family just as you are, in every season of life.

If you’re looking to document your family’s connection in a natural, relaxed way, I’m always up for a run around on the beach 😂💛

As part of celebrating my one year anniversary as a photographer, I invited a few of the first families I ever photographed when starting out back for a complimentary anniversary session.

Lovely Rosie and her little boy, Cassian, came down to meet me on a misty beach day in March 2025, and the same kind of weather decided to make an appearance at our one year later session a few weeks back.

It’s so amazing to see how fast little ones grow up, how we evolve as parents, and to have these special moments captured to look back on.

So excited to share my other anniversary sessions and for all the lovely family sessions yet to capture this year 💛

Do you have hundreds, even thousands, of photos of your kids on your phone, but when you scroll back you realise you’re barely in any of them?

I think this is something so many mums can relate to (including myself!)

We become the family photographer without even meaning to. We’re the ones capturing the milestones, the funny moments, the first steps… and somehow we end up missing from the story ourselves.

This is partly how I became inspired to get into photography.

When I became a mum in 2023, that whole first year felt like a whirlwind of adjusting to a completely new life. Like so many mums, I found myself taking hundreds of photos of my baby, but hardly any with me in them.

In the summer of 2024, while visiting family up north, I ended up booking a motherhood beach photoshoot after a last-minute cancellation. I remember leaving the shoot feeling a little nervous to see the photos, and I think a lot of mums know that feeling.

But when I saw them, I absolutely loved them. Not because everything looked perfect, but because they captured a moment in time with my one-year-old son that I’ll never get back.

Photographs aren’t just for social media. They’re for ourselves, and they’re for our children’s future. And that’s why it really matters that mums are in the picture too.

One day, these photos won’t just be images on our phones. They’ll be part of our family’s story and something our children and future generations will look back on.

So this is your reminder this Mother’s Day. Don’t wait until life feels less busy, or until you feel more “ready”.

You deserve to exist in your family memories too.

Happy Mother’s Day 💛🌷

Lots of exciting things happening in March, and I’m kicking it off with a very special announcement! 🥲

As I approach my one-year anniversary as a photographer, I’ve been thinking about how to expand my creativity and capture stories in different, fun ways.

I’m over the moon to share that my wonderful husband, Michael, is officially joining Cosy Palm Creative as videographer! 🙌🏻

I’m a little biased, but Michael is SO kind, funny, and instantly puts people at ease, plus he has heaps of technical and creative knowledge to bring your stories to life.

From now on, we’ll be capturing weddings, families, and all the little moments together through photo, video, and even Super 8 film!

We’re also offering joint photo + video packages, so your memories can be beautifully preserved in every way 💛

So excited to start this next chapter of Cosy Palm Creative, and I can’t wait to share more of what we’ve been working on. First wedding highlight dropping this evening! 🪩

A few days before Christmas, I had the pleasure of capturing Leah + Elle’s special day and despite the freezing temperatures, it was so much fun from start to finish!

You could really feel the joy and happy energy radiating from everyone and I felt so privileged to be asked to capture such a special moment in their story.

There’s something about weddings during the colder months. The fresh winter air, the soft light, everyone wrapped up close.

Leah and Elle were so full of warmth, laughter and shared a kind of love that just feels solid and safe. It was the most beautiful way to end my 2025 season and first year of photographing weddings.

Leah + Elle, thank you for trusting me with your memories. What a way to close the year 🤍

Sharing some moments from my first time shooting at Apton Hall this past November for the lovely James and Megan’s wedding.

It was so wonderful getting to know Megan and James in the run up to their big day, and to capture all the special moments and connections between everyone was such a pleasure. They are such an amazing couple and a joy to work with from the get go 💛

Apton Hall as a venue was such a dream to shoot at, and I can’t thank them enough for all their help on the day to make sure my job ran smoothly!

Fingers crossed I’ll back there soon at some point to capture some more wedding magic 🤩
