A wedding day isn’t just about saying "I do."

It’s the quiet moments before.
The deep breath.
The excitement.
The anticipation.
The feeling of knowing your next chapter is about to begin. ✨

Capturing moments like these is why I love wedding photography. Creating timeless images that allow you to relive not just how your day looked, but how it felt.

Natural. Elegant. Authentic.

Now booking weddings across Essex and beyond for 2026 & 2027. 🤍

If you're looking for a photographer who will capture the genuine moments as well as the beautiful details, I'd love to hear from you.

Good morning 🌿✨

The first job of the day? Checking on the garden.

The lavender is buzzing with bees, the tomatoes are flowering, the pear tree is growing fruit and I'm already noticing more wildlife stopping by. That's exactly why I've chosen so many pollinator-friendly plants. 🐝🌸

Everything will need a good water later and I'm going to start adding some feed to give everything a little boost. I'm also finding myself daydreaming about adding a wildlife pond at some point... definitely a future project, but I can already picture it. 🤍

For now, it's time to head out for dog walks before spending the afternoon editing photographs and catching up on admin.

Busy day. Grateful heart. Building a life I genuinely love, one small step at a time. ✨

Tonight I photographed a local Yoga class. It was great to do something a bit different... and was definitely the most relaxing shoot I've ever done!

I can't wait to share the images from this shoot.

Listen.

Life is hard. You're going to face challenges. You're going to hit obstacles. Some days, you're going to feel like you're losing.

But you're not.

Keep going. Keep working. Keep pushing. Keep believing in your vision and the life you want to create.

Because nobody is going to build it for you.

So make it happen.

I'm fully entering my feral farmer era, and honestly? I'm going to love every second of it. 🌿✨

The flowers. The vegetables. The muddy boots. The early mornings. The hard work.

A year ago, I was rebuilding my life. Now, I'm building a life I genuinely love.

And I'm not done growing yet.

Everyone asked me why I wanted to take so many pots with me when I moved... 🌿

Now I've got enough tomato plants to give Heinz a run for their money, vegetables growing, flowers blooming, herbs thriving, and my very first pumpkin in the ground. 🎃

Today involved dirt, sweat, heavy lifting and a lot of hard work.

But this is my kind of boss energy.

Building a home. Growing a garden. Creating a life I don't want to escape from.

A year ago I was unpacking boxes. Today I'm planting roots. 🤍

Everyone asked me why I wanted to take so many pots with me when I moved... 🌿✨

A year later, I think they're starting to get their answer.

What started as a few empty pots has turned into tomatoes, herbs, flowers, vegetables, my first pumpkin, and a garden that's slowly becoming my little slice of paradise.

It's funny how sometimes the things that seem insignificant to other people end up meaning the most to you.

For me, it was never really about the pots.

It was about putting down roots.

Creating a home.

Building a life I didn't want to escape from.

Today involved a lot of heavy lifting, dirt, sweat, and probably enough tomato plants to give Heinz a run for their money... and I loved every minute of it.

🌿☕️ GOOD MORNING, FRIDAY. ☕️🌿

I've officially reached that phase of life where my morning starts with a coffee in hand, checking on my plants and deciding what needs planting next. 🌱✨

Honestly? I love it.

Today looks like: 🐾 3 dog walks 📸 Photo editing 🌿 Sowing a few more seeds ☕ A couple of peaceful garden moments in between.

A few years ago, I'd never have imagined that watching flowers bloom, tomatoes grow and bees visit the garden would bring me so much joy. But here we are.

Slowly creating a life filled with nature, creativity, animals and the little things that make me happy. And that feels pretty special. 🤍

Now if you'll excuse me, I have dogs to walk, photos to edit and plants to fuss over. 🌸🐾

What are your plans for today?

✨ ONE YEAR HOME ✨

Just over a year ago, I got the keys to my little countryside home.

At the time, I thought I was moving house.

Looking back, I was actually rebuilding my life.

This home has been more than four walls and a roof. It's been a place to heal. A place to grieve. A place to rediscover who I am outside of survival mode.

Over the last year I've built a garden, watched sunsets over the fields, welcomed wildlife, created art, grown my business, laughed with friends, spent countless hours with my animals and slowly started falling in love with life again.

The truth is, healing doesn't happen overnight. Growth doesn't happen overnight either.

It's built in the small moments. The morning coffee in the garden. The flowers that finally bloom. The difficult days you get through. The dreams you keep showing up for.

This home gave me the space to do that.
One year later, I'm still learning, still growing and still building a life that feels authentic to me. But for the first time in a very long time, I'm excited about what's ahead.

Here's to year two. 🤍✨

What's something you're proud of from the last year?

✨ THESE are the moments you'll treasure forever. ✨

Not the perfect poses. Not the trends.

The nervous smile before you walk in. The way your partner looks at you. The laughter from your guests. The tiny moments you didn't even realise were happening.

Because once the cake is eaten and the dress is packed away, your photographs become the memories you hold onto. 🤍

If you're planning your wedding and want natural, emotional photography that tells the full story of your day, my diary is open for 2026 & 2027 bookings.

Tuesday part 1 - BOSS ENERGY ISN'T ALWAYS GLAMOROUS. 👀✨

Sometimes it's pulling weeds from a patio that's been taken over by nature.

Sometimes it's spending the afternoon in muddy trainers with soil under your nails.

Sometimes it's planting tomato and pepper plants while dodging rain showers, storms and bursts of sunshine.

But today felt like more than just gardening.

After losing Mum, I haven't really had the time, headspace or mentality to properly enjoy the garden. Especially growing my own vegetables, which was something I used to love.

For a long time, life was about surviving, rebuilding and simply getting through the next day.

Today felt different.

Today, the old me caught up with the new me.

The woman who loves being creative. The woman who loves nature. The woman who finds peace with her hands in the soil and a few muddy paw prints nearby.

And honestly? It felt really good to get my hands dirty again. 🌱🤍

The garden still has plenty of work to do, but so did I. And we're both coming along nicely.

What's something you've rediscovered about yourself recently? 👇
