As photographers, we spend so much time focusing on getting the perfect image that it's easy to forget how much the experience matters too.

🤍When should you book your newborn session? 🤍

The best time to book your newborn session is during pregnancy, ideally after your 20 week scan. I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month so that every family receives the time, care and attention they deserve, ensuring a relaxed, baby led experience from start to finish.

✨ I am now taking bookings for babies due from September onwards.

Not quite that organised? Don't worry! If your baby has already arrived, it's always worth getting in touch. I do occasionally have last minute availability, so I'll always do my best to fit you in if I can.

A gorgeous little princess who came to see me today with all 3 of her big brothers! It was amazing to see how much they have grown and how much they love their baby sister. 🤍
Seeing her parents felt like catching up with friends and while it was rather toasty at the studio this morning, I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Friday! I mean, just look at how stunning this tiny baby girl is! 🤍

Not every cake smash and splash session goes to plan.

Not every baby loves the cake or the little bath.

Some need more patience, some need cuddles, some need me to sing more silly songs and blow raspberries.

Every baby in my studio gets 100% from me. No rushing, just patience, gentle encouragement (or a lot of clapping and cheering if they prefer :) Whatever they need.

Because I want to provide you with gorgeous photos and I want your little one to feel comfortable in my studio and enjoy the experience!

Oh baby girl! You stole my heart today. 🤍

You came to the studio all sassy and wide awake, and by the end of the session you were completely relaxed and fast asleep. You were an absolute dream to photograph.

I also feel so lucky to have photographed both of your older sisters as newborns too. One of the greatest privileges of my job is being able to watch families grow and help them preserve these precious moments.

As I'm heading off on a Photography Creative Recharge retreat tonight myself, I thought this little spa-themed setup was the perfect sneak peek to share from today's session! 🤍
